Instructed by Astra

After a bit of strong-arming (literally!), Astra has finally caved to the demands of beading regulars and is teaching her "beadmail" technique. By wire-wrapping beads and attaching them to each other with jump rings, you can make this intricate-looking and elegant necklace, fit for a fancy gala or a trip to the Renaissance Faire. Don't kid yourself -- you can rock this with jeans and a T-shirt, too!

Note: The top image (pink & purple) was admittedly a gift for Astra's Mom, so it's not physically in the store, but it was so pretty I wanted to post a photo anyway!
