Here's your chance to show off your creativity, garner the esteem of your peers, win fabulous prizes, and make a contribution to Breast Cancer research all at the same time!
Starting in August, anyone can come by Nomadic Notions and purchase a specially packaged selection of "White Glass" beads to be used in a competitive piece of jewelry / art.
Using at least fifty percent of these vintage white German pressed glass beads along with your own additions you can create a great work of art that speaks to you and ultimately to others. All pieces will be returned to Nomadic Notions by October 15, 2006 for judging.
During one our biggest events of the season - the October Trunk Show - everyone's work will be on display for public voting. The top three pieces - as judged by their peers - will receive a gift certificate which can be used for fabulous bead prizes! The top three winners from each Nomadic Notions store will go on to compete for a grand prize!
- 1st Place Store wide wins a $100 gift certificate!
- 2nd Place Store wide wins a $75 gift certificate!
- 3rd Place Store wide wins a $50 gift certificate!
- Grand Prize Company wide wins an additional $250 gift certificate!
The Nomad Staff will also be creating "White Glass" pieces which will be offered in a Silent Auction during the October Trunk Show!

Portions of the proceeds from every one of the phases of this event will be donated directly to the Breast Cancer Fund!
