Wine Glass Charms

There are plenty of things you can make at our store aside from just jewelry. Why not make your next party a little more unique with some fun and colorful wine glass charms? All you need is some ring-sized memory wire (25¢ a coil), memory wire cutters (this is important because memory wire is made from steel, which is too tough for your average cutters -- you'll need to get special ones so you don't nick your blade), round-nose pliers, an assortment of beads, and of course, your charms!

You'll start by cutting a coil off your memory wire -- usually you'll want the two ends to overlap a little. Make a loop at one end with your round-nose pliers. It'll be a little tough -- the memory wire is steel, after all! The loop is what will keep your beads from falling off the end.

String an assortment of beads onto your memory wire. This is a great project for kids, as well as a great project for getting rid of all your miscellaneous beads! Seed beads work great, too. Once all the beads are on, make a loop at the other end of the memory wire, and then you can either attach you charms with jump rings, or just hook them directly into the loops.
